Buy A Home as an Owner Occupant

When you invest in a new home, your typical down payment requirement is 20% down, yuck! If you buy as an owner occupant, you can get this to as low as 3% down. Much better!

Make Sure that Home has TWO or more Units
This is not for everyone, but once you buy a home with two units, you can occupy one and rent out the other. You can rent as a short term, mid term, or long term rental, you decide because it is YOUR home!

Rent and Repeat

For my savvy clients, you can repeat this process every year! You repeat this process and start renting the unit you were living in! For example, I am personally on my FOURTH house hack! Each house I bought is now a cash flowing, appreciating asset. My current home is in East Atlanta, and I rent a tiny home in the back!
